Aging and Rating Cigars

The same brand of cigars can taste different to different smokers. At different times under different conditions, the same cigars can even taste different to the same smoker. Many factors can affect the taste of a cigar. One of the factors that you can control is the effect of aging your cigars in a properly maintained humidor. We are about to conduct a live experiment on this website to (hopefully) demonstrate how aging can greatly improve the flavor of most cigars. We will also explore some of the reasons why you may not agree with some of the published ratings. This is a must read for those who rate cigars, and for those who read and rely on those ratings.
