Cigars and Golf
Thursday August 10, 2006
We've already talked a bit about cigars and baseball, now it's time for a word about cigars and golf. According to Nick Perdomo, Jr., president and CEO of Tabacalera Perdomo, "We all know that smoking cigars and playing golf go hand in hand." For the past three years, Nick's company has been developing a program they call Perdomo Golf, which is now being launched this month. The new program includes a special new cigar line known as La Tradicion Perdomo Reserve Limited Golf Edition, which is available in various sizes. According to Nick, "I am very excited about the release of this new blend and I look forward to sharing it with cigar connoisseurs and golfers alike."
In addition, the program also includes golf apparel (golf caps and polo shirts), accessories and golfing events. Check out "The Caddy", a gift pack designed for golf foursomes, which includes four of Perdomo's new limited golf edition cigars (in tubes), four custom golf balls, and a Perdomo cigar cutter. After lighting up, don't forget to yell "Fore!" Perdomo Golf cigars and merchandise should be available this month at many local tobacconists.

Here is a video of someone making t-shirt with a marlboro cigarette package. I guess he had a ton of free time on his hands to come up with this idea.

I have a client that engineered and manufactured a 3 in 1 golf tool just for cigar smokers. The RC3 cigar caddy is cleverly designed to poke into the grass and hold your cigar while you swing. I had to buy one for my husband and have since been buying them regularly as gifts for friends that comment about it.
