Tim Ozgener Named President of CAO Cigars

Tim Ozgener, 36, will succeed his father as the President of CAO International, Inc. Cano Ozgener, who founded the family owned company in 1968, will continue as Founder and Chairman. According to the new president, "I am looking forward to my new role at CAO. I am very excited about the years to come as we have assembled a top-notch team. CAO has achieved a great deal over the years, and we have many new exciting projects on the horizon". My Good Friend Bought Me a CAO Signed Bekler Meershaum Pipe for $250.00 this past Jan/2006 and I Really Liked the Crafstmanship and It was a favorite Pipe of Mine that I did Smoke Often.
It even began to Color Well with the use of Pure Bee’s Wax. Then I went to take the Stem out to Clean it approx.2 weeks ago and as I was Turning it carefully the Tendon and all Came right out of the Shank and it began to crack on the Top of the Meershaaum. The Pipe is Beyond repair! So I Shipped it back to CAO International Insured/Return receipt.I didnt Hear back from them at all so I Called. A Gentleman Returned My Call Stating that He had the Pipe But, according to the Company Policy there is “NO Replacement Warranty” on the Pipe??? If You Spend $250.00 for a Pipe and it is NOT Abused at All and within a Period of Not even 7 mos. it’s Defective You would Expect the Company to Replace the Pipe Just to Keep there High Quality of Excellance Up to Standards and as Well to Make the Customer Happy!Well “NOT” in this case! I was Told Out-Right that I was Out of a Pipe??? I have Been Smoking Pipes and Cigars for Many years and Never did I ever hear of a Company that didnt try to work with the Customer.I really Feel that the NEW President of CAO if this is HIS NEW policy for NOBODY to Buy another Thing from him at All! I am 52 yrs of Age and a Former Law Enforcement Officer and I do Intend to Contact an Attorney and Possible File a Law Suit!

well i feel for you on that pipe,but i only had good exp. with cao,i had a prob with a box of cigars i got at a cigar event,and maddona archer at cao took care of me,got me a new box,and some samples of some of there other cigars,so i ahve to give them a thumbs up
