Fonseca makes some pretty good cigars in the Dominican Republic, but another Fonseca makes some pretty good Porto, which is a fortified wine made in Portugal. Why not combine the two? I did just that, and paired a Fonseca Classic 5-50 cigar with a glass (or two) of Fonseca 2000 Late Bottled Vintage Porto. Read the first in my new series of cigar pairing reviews, combining a premium handmade cigar with a libation chosen especially to accompany that cigar.
