Cigar Rating Experiment – Part X

After six months of aging in a humidor, our bundle of Flor de Oliva Gold Toro cigars seem to be reaching their full potential. Although I enjoyed last month's cigar better than this month's test cigar, that can be attributed to the accompanying beverage. Mild-to-medium cigars just taste so much better with expensive French wine than with ice-cold beer, despite an extra month of aging. We'll continue this test for a few more months, and then write a final review.

To spice things up in the mean time, another bundle of cigars are now being aged to compare with the Flor de Oliva Gold cigars. The results of tests conducted during the first month of aging are represented by a blue line on the accompanying graph. We know that every bundle or box of cigars ages differently, so it might be interesting to compare a couple of different brands in a live test to see just how different.
