Spring Forward with Small Cigars
Friday March 2, 2007
You probably already know by now that Daylight Savings Time will begin for most of the United Sates on March 11 during 2007, instead of on the first Sunday in April. This may cause some problems if your computer-controlled device was automatically programmed to adjust its clock or timer one hour ahead at 2:00AM on April 1. But what does this all have to do with cigars? When you move your clocks one hour ahead, you lose an hour. This means that you will have one less hour to smoke cigars next weekend. Therefore, now is the time to acquire some small cigars that take less time to smoke.
Here are three great cigars that are recommended when time is limited: All of the above cigars may be small in size, but all three brands are real cigars, as opposed to brown cigarettes masquerading as "little cigars" for tax purposes.

Wait a minute, we may lose an hour, but we gain time in sunlight to stay outside longer.
We will actually be increasing in daylight up until the day after the summer solstace - aka the longest day of the year.
During the Vernal Equinox - the first day of spring, we will experience 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of sunlight. This increases by a minute each day until the summer solstace. After that it decrease until the autumnal equinox.
More daylight to smoke cigars, but still less time. No matter how you cut it, there are only 23 hours to smoke cigars on March 11.
Depending on your taste (mild, medium or bold) a good short smoke are the CAO cigarillos that come in tins of 5 - Brazilia Cariocas, Gold Karats, Italia Piccolos and Criollo Pampas. All of them will smoke very close to their larger counterparts and are good for a 15 to 20 minute break.
Those H.Upmann Demi-Tasse are pretty good. The Indonesian wrapper gives it a little spice. On many days, I just don’t get a chance for even a petite corona. I keep a few Demi’s handy for whenever opportunity knocks.
