Review of a Gurkha Cigar

Tuesday July 3, 2007
Gurkha has a reputation of producing some pretty good boutique cigars, but the Connecticut Reserve Robusto Number 4 didn't quite live up to my expectations. Read my review of this Gurkha Robusto cigar that is really a Toro.

I just bought a five pack of Gurkha Master Select Torpedos and smoked one last night. The wrapper was dry looking, with large veins, and had tiny areas without any wrapper. About the worst looking wrapper I have ever seen. A medium, dry smoke smoke that left a not so pleasant taste in my mouth. I’m not impressed to say the least, especially with an $8.00 to $9.00 price tag.
