CAO To Distribute Café Crème and Nobel Petit Brands
Monday July 9, 2007
Effective July 1, 2007, CAO Cigars has become the exclusive distributor of Café Crème and Nobel Petit cigar brands in the United States. Café Crème was first launched in 1963 in the United Kingdom, making it the first cigarillo to enter the market. Today, Café Crème is the world’s number one cigarillo brand and is available in more than 100 countries worldwide. Here is some additional information about these cigars, as well as CAO's new "America" cigar:
Café Crème is the category leader in France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Hong Kong and Singapore. “We are very excited about adding both the Café Crème and Nobel Petit brands to our portfolio,” stated CAO National Sales Manager Micky Pegg. “These are brands that possess a global status and heritage, and it is our goal to make the Café Crème range an integral part of every retail tobacconist’s inventory.”
CAO will unveil its CAO America cigar line at the RTDA 75th Annual Convention and International Trade Show in Houston August 4-8. Packaged in boxes of 20 cigars, CAO America will be available in three shapes: Potomac (5" x 56), the torpedo-shaped Monument (6 ¼" x 54), and Landmark (6" x 60). The CAO "America" is a full flavored pinstriped cigar made with both Connecticut Shade and Broadleaf wrappers, a Brazilian binder, and 100% ligero filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Italy, U.S.A., and the Dominican Republic.
