When passing by the Dignity Cigars booth at the IPCPR trade show in Orlando, I couldn't help but notice a very long Diadema shaped cigar having a very attractive cigar band. According to Don'Juan Gross, CEO of Dignity Cigars, the cigar that caught my eye was a Costa Rican puro measuring nine inches long with a ring gauge of 55. The cigar is named Smoke of Art - Cateva Limitada Serie 1944. Don'Juan gave me a sample to try, plus samples of some of his other cigars. I'll be reviewing these pesticide-free and organically fertilized Costa Rican puros later, but I might just hold on to the 9-inch SOA for a special occasion (maybe even the Super Bowl). At nine inches long, this will beat the longest cigar that I have ever smoked, by one-half inch.
