At the Great Smoke cigar event on February 16, 2013, I had the chance to talk with the Executive Director of Cigars Rights of America, J. Glynn Loope. Glynn gave me the latest news about CRA's fight to keep premium cigars exempt from FDA regulation. CRA recently helped to facilitate a joint letter, which was sent directly to the White House, from the Ambassadors to the United States from Nicaragua, Honduras and Dominican Republic, which stated that the U.S. should not promote regulations that can pose threats to the cigar industry. And for some breaking news, CRA will now relaunch their petition to the new Congress after refiling previous legislation, creating new House Bill 792.
To listen to our interview with Glynn Loope, you must have a Windows Media Player installed on your computer, or other software that can play wma files.
