Gary has been the About.com Guide to Cigars since 2006, but has been a connoisseur of handmade premium cigars for over two decades. Gary has reviewed hundreds of cigars, from the value priced to the high end super premium. He has also covered major cigar events, such as the Big Smoke in Las Vegas, Great Smoke in Palm Beach, and the International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers' conventions and trade shows in New Orleans and Orlando. Gary has also traveled to countless cigar factories, emporiums and cigar bars, both in the United States and abroad, including Tabacalera de Garcia in the Dominican Republic.
