The Slow-Aged Lot 826 Toro cigar is made in Nicaragua by Tabacalera Perdomo. This cigar is made with a blend of Nicaraguan
filler tobaccos and a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro
wrapper. The Toro measures 6 inches long with a
ring gauge of 52.
Flavor
The Lot 826 Maduro cigar is a rich tasting full flavored cigar. The cigar is very robust and has a nice toasted flavor that remained consistent down to the last two inches. The strength of this cigar makes it suitable for more seasoned cigar smokers. Beginners should probably avoid the Lot 826 Maduro, but most definitely keep it in mind for future enjoyment.Draw and Construction
The cigar started off with a draw that was slightly on the tight side, but then improved greatly after three or four puffs. The burn was even for the most part, but the cigar needed a couple of touch up lights just to avoid the potential of an uneven burn. The construction was not excellent, but at a minimum, it was still adequate. There were not any major issues with the cigar's construction to negate the overall smoking experience.Value
Costing less than $2.50 per stick, Perdomo's Slow-Aged Lot 826 cigar is an outstanding value for seasoned cigar smokers who are looking for a good tasting full-flavored cigar at a value price. Although the flavor is not the same as the Perdomo Reserve Cameroon
(read review), nor is the cigar as well constructed, the flavor of the Slow-Aged Lot 826 cigar is good enough to earn the same rating, in my opinion. If impeccable construction is worth more than double the price, then try the Perdomo Reserve Cameroon. But for full flavor and adequate construction at less than half the price, I recommend the Perdomo Slow-Aged Lot 826.
