Perdomo Reserve Cameroon cigars are made by Tabacalera Perdomo in Nicaragua, using a blend of Nicaraguan Cuban seed
filler tobaccos and African Cameroon
wrappers. The Robusto measures five inches in length, with a
ring gauge of 54.
Flavor
The cigar was medium-to-full bodied, with a nice rich and complex taste. The cigar started off with a very good tobacco flavor, and then progressed to offer hints of other flavors, some of which I cannot pinpoint exactly (one of the flavors was similar to caramel, others were closer to some type of spice). The caramel-like taste did not last very long, but the cigar continued to be very flavorful and enjoyable all the way down to the last two inches.Draw and Construction
The cigar was very well made, had an even burn, and an excellent draw. I was able to enjoy a good volume of very flavorful smoke with every puff. The cigar did not require any relights, and there were not any issues with its construction to impair my enjoyment of this particular cigar.Value
When purchased by the box, the cost per cigar is around $5. Single sticks can cost close to $7 each. These Perdomo Cameroon cigars are not inexpensive, but they not overpriced either, considering the superb and complex flavor characteristics of the cigars. Perdomo Cameroon cigars are worth giving them a try, and I intend to enjoy more of this brand in the future. Recommended for more seasoned smokers, but beginners who own humidors can start aging a few of them now.
