Gary,
This is another good shipment that went to TSgt Santos. The guys at our club and local shop are awesome.

Mitch

Dear Friends:

For all of you who participated in the cigars for troops drive thank-you very much. Through your generosity we were able to send over 200 cigars to our military in Afghanistan.

While you are in the store don’t forget to register for two VIP tickets to the Ron White Show and boxes of cigars to be given away on this Friday.

Thanks for all your support and look forward to seeing you in the store.

Mitch,

I broke open the CAO MX2s last night with Pedro and was amazed at what I good smoke they were. I know CAOs are good cigars but the double maduro MX2 was a terrific smoke. Mine lasted about 30 Mins, as I puff a lot, Pedro's lasted about 45 mins as he talks a lot.... That was Pedro's first cigar in about 5 weeks, so he was feeling pretty good after that. We went on to the Padron Box Press (2'nds) maduros after that, I couldn't wait for a week in the humidor to smoke one. I've always been impatient since I was a kid so this comes as no surprise to me. They were as good as the last ones we had when you were still here, albeit the company was lacking this time. They start off a little harsh for the first inch but after that they smooth out till your at the end when they get really stout again. Again, I can't thank you enough for these as they are my all time favorite (right now, you never know when you'll find one you like a little better). Pedro got a new lighter in Today from EBAY paid 20.00 for it and when I filled it up for him it wouldn't light. It may be due to my bottle being low so he's going to fill it up with the bottle you sent us. I told him to keep it in his room to test all his new "fancy" lighters. My birthday present from Pedro was that 3 banger $5.00 lighter from Camp Phoenix and its still working like a champ so I keep it filled just incase Pedro's doesn't work...

Now for a little camp update for you;

We buy wood from the fuels vendors and have a fire every night, along with a good cigar of course. We just bought $640.00 worth last weekend so it should hold us for a couple of weeks. All the funds were donated from CECS and hardcore hangout folks of the Green Bean area. We have a Pizza place going up and should be open next week. The Korean/Chinese place is way behind schedule so it will be a while before we get any food from them. I think FEB 08 and they started before the Cianios Pizza place!

Our class one food mentors and the class three food mentors were in an VBIED last week about 1/4 mile from camp. Luckily no one was hurt, the up-armored SUVs saved eight lives. Two trucks were totally destroyed and one will be back in service next week. I wonders who will want to drive that one? Seems like its served it purpose and the second time will be more risky if something happens.

We are all well and in good spirits, down to 110 days left, so any 120 day AF wonders will still be here after we leave... 8-)

God bless you and your wife,

Your "little brother" and friend,

Mitch,

The stogies came at a perfect time! Pedro was out of cigars and the Moya Maduros I bought last time went out in two weekends.

The box press Maduros (Padrone 2nds?) went right in the humidor along with lots of the Prida's. I took out the Pridas to share with the hard core CECS members but the Maduros are for Pedro and I to share. I also held back the CAO MX2s for Pedro and I to smoke today. Its his first day to be able to smoke again after fighting off the "Afghan Black Lung" he had.

He absolutely loved the lighter and the fluid, I had a chance to look it over before he saw it and it was beautiful. I didn’t see the double punch on the bottom until after I had given it to him. Pedro found it and was like "Holy shit it has two punches" in the usual Pedro way of showing excitement....

Here is a photo of my Humidor full of these beauties you sent. Cooking slowly, waiting for a few days, minus the one of each I smoked last night... they were delicious right out of the wrapper. Can't wait so see what a few days in the humidor does for them!

Thanks again Mitch, your awesome!
