Dear Sir -
I have a few thousand dollars worth of cigars I need to send to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. The money was donated by the member's of the Detroit Athletic Club. I would appreciate any advice on getting them to you and a contact in Iraq...
Thank you for your service -

Ryan and Craig,
I just got back from out of town, apologize for the delay in replying to your message. I take care of the Afghanistan side, and my colleague Ryan McClymont is my primary contact for Iraq. I'm forwarding this on up to him so that the two of you can make contact.
I'm serving as the hub for Cigars for Troops in Afghanistan. Here in Kabul we smoke a few, but the real need for support is downrange with our forward troops, and we send the majority out. When I receive a donation, I generally send back a note and a few picures, and let you know where your cigars went. I also let the downrange cigar smokers know where the cigars came from, so that they can say thanks themselves.
...I hope this answers your questions, and I look forward to helping you get the most mileage out of your generous donation. Ryan and I really appreciate the support, and I know our forward troops do as well.
