Cigar donations are distributed to FOB's in Afghanistan, from Kandahar to Konduz. The cigar club has been sustaining their supply with just a few generous donors.
From Major Esser: "Cigars bring a much needed taste of home. I took over the club from MSgt Brych a couple of months ago, who inherited it from Capt Funk a while back. Our mission here at Camp Eggers affords us the opportunity to visit most of the FOBs around the country and hand deliver sticks to fellow troops in austere locations. As a convenient central collection point for Afghanistan, I maintain a current mailing list of FOB contacts and equitably distribute the cigars that are sent by commercial and private donors. For those who'd like to send cigar donations to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen & Marines deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom, I'll ensure they are distributed around the country. We are proud to serve and grateful for your support."
