On Wednesday evening April 6, 2011, Altadis USA introduced the Warlock Cigar to the cigar smokers of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event took place at “Imbibe”, a swanky upscale cigar bar located in the historic Nob Hill district of Albuquerque. This is a very cool place to be especially if you want to enjoy a good cigar and good company. You can enjoy a premium cigar in their lounge surrounded by customer cigar lockers, or up on the roof-top where there is another bar, fire pits and a great view of the city lights. Their humidor is well stocked with top of line cigars and reasonable prices, as well as their great bar featuring spirits, beer and several wines, one of which is their own label. Big screen TV’s are in all rooms and you can catch your favorite sporting event or take part in monthly beer and wine tastings.
I smoked the new Warlock cigar with "Imbibe" owner Mark Harris while enjoying a glass of their house cabernet. "Imbibe" has been open since 2008. On occasion, Mark brings in a Cuban cigar roller to give his customers the experience of smoking fresh rolled cigars.
The Warlock event was a huge success. This is a full bodied cigar blended by Omar Ortez. It has an interesting Ecuadorian Cubano wrapper. This not a cigar for the novice smoker.
