IPCPR Annual Convention and Trade Show

The annual International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers convention and trade show is the biggest event of the year for cigar makers and retailers. Although not open to the general public, the event is of great interest to cigar smokers because it establishes the most popular time of the year for cigar and accessory makers to introduce their new products. The 78th Annual Convention and Trade Show was held in New Orleans during August 9 to 13, 2010. The convention began with a series of presentations, seminars, and meetings, leading up to a 3½-day trade show. We thank Chris McCalla, the IPCPR's Legislative Director, for granting us media access to cover this event. The annual IPCPR convention and trade show moved to Las Vegas in July 2011, and will go to Orlando in 2012.
