Best Cigars For Weddings

A wedding is one of those occasions where cigars are mandatory (at least in my opinion). The type and brand of cigars do not even matter. You can buy machine made cigars for your wedding guests, such as Dutch Masters and White Owl, or purchase some inexpensive handmade cigars that taste great right out of the package, like Roly and Baccarat. Many guests will always take a free cigar, even if they have no intention of ever smoking it. Others will light it up, take a few puffs, and then snuff it out. Thus, you do not want to waste a lot of money on expensive cigars, unless your guests are mostly cigar aficionados.

On the other hand, a few choice cigars for yourself (and maybe your best man, other groomsmen, and immediate family) are a different matter. On such a special day, go for a super premium brand such as Fuente Fuente Opus X or Padron Anniversary. And when you pose for that special picture, make sure to position the label of the cigar towards the camera.

However, if you insist on having only one box or brand of cigars for everyone, including yourself, then I recommend the Saint Luis Rey Rothchilde. The cost is about $50 per box of 25, which is inexpensive for a premium cigar that you may actually like better than an Opus X (at least "I do", in wedding lingo).

In addition to the cigars, do not forget to bring a cigar cutter. And last but not least, do not forget to prepare your bride for becoming a cigar friendly wife. If your wife does not like the smell of your particular brand of cigars, you just might have to change wives!
